Trees Cut Near Jamshedpur JNAC Office Spark Controversy

Two Neem and Two Amla Trees Cut Near Sakchi Roundabout; Complaint Filed by Retired Inspector.

The cutting of four trees near the Jamshedpur Akshes office and Sakchi No. 9 roundabout has raised concerns, leading to a complaint by a retired sanitation inspector.

JAMSHEDPUR – A case of tree cutting near the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee office and Sakchi No. 9 roundabout has come to light, with two neem and two amla trees being felled.

The trees were located near some recently allocated shops behind the spot where they were cut.

Dhananjay Pandey, a retired sanitation inspector from Jamshedpur NAC, has lodged a complaint with the Dhalbhum SDO regarding the incident.

Pandey explained that during his tenure at Jamshedpur NAC, these trees were planted along the roadside through an initiative by Jusco.

Recently, Jusco built and allocated some shops in the area, and the trees were located in front of these shops, leading to their removal.
