Students Pedal for the Planet in Bistupur’s Earth Day Cyclothon
In celebration of Earth Day 2024, JUSCO School South Park organized a Cyclothon, encouraging young students to champion environmental causes through a spirited bicycle rally.
JAMSHEDPUR – JUSCO School South Park took a proactive step towards environmental advocacy by hosting a Cyclothon for its students on Earth Day.
35 students from Class 7 and 8 cycled through Bistupur, bearing placards with messages like “Save Earth” and “Planet Vs Plastic.”
The event kicked off at the school campus, with Principal Mili Sinha leading the flag-off, highlighting the school’s commitment to environmental education.
A significant moment of the event was the Oath-taking ceremony held at G-Town Open Gym, where participants pledged to uphold sustainable practices.
This initiative not only demonstrated the school’s dedication to instilling environmental consciousness but also inspired the local community to reflect on their environmental impact.
The Cyclothon symbolizes a growing movement towards greener lifestyles, driven by the younger generation’s enthusiasm for making a difference.
