JAMSHEDPUR – The Jamshedpur Lok Sabha constituency witnessed high voter turnout as citizens participated enthusiastically in the ongoing elections.
The mass awareness campaigns by the Election Commission, known as SVEEP (Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation program), have significantly impacted voter engagement.
Prominent Figures Lead by Example

Among the enthusiastic voters were T. V. Narendran, CEO and Managing Director of Tata Steel, and his wife, social activist Ruchi Narendran. Speaking to the media, Narendran emphasized the responsibility of voting, expressing hope for a higher turnout this time compared to previous elections in Jamshedpur.
Law Enforcement Officials Participate too
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) and City Superintendent of Police (SP) cast their votes at booth number 161 at Loyola School in Bistupur. They urged residents to actively participate in the democratic process, highlighting the importance of voting over treating it as a mere holiday.
District Officials’ Involvement
Jamshedpur Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal voted at booth number 161 at Loyola School, emphasizing the fundamental right and importance of voting. He expressed satisfaction with the increased voter turnout in rural areas and encouraged urban voters to cast their votes by 5:00 PM.

Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC) Manish Ranjan, who also voted, accompanied Mittal during the voting process.
