NQAS Team Arrives at Sadar Hospital, Jamshedpur for Quality Assurance Check
A 3-day quality assurance investigation has begun by the NQAS team at Sadar Hospital, Jamshedpur, with outcomes impacting future certification status.
JAMSHEDPUR – Today, a three-member team from the National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) arrived at Sadar Hospital located in Khasmahal, Jamshedpur.
The team began a comprehensive investigation into all health-related facilities.
This examination will continue for three days, after which a report will be submitted to the Central Health Department.
Sadar Hospital in Khas Mahal, Jamshedpur, is the only hospital in Jharkhand that has received NQUAS certification, which was achieved in 2018.
Further efforts for NQAS certification by Sadar Hospital are currently underway, and an evaluation will be performed by the team from June 22 to June 24.
The Civil Surgeon, Jujhar Manjhi, stated that all health-related facilities, including the standards and quality of Sadar Hospital, are being investigated.
Only after this process will the hospital be declared NQAS certified.
He added that Sadar Hospital is fully prepared for the NQAS certification, and a team of three doctors, including one female doctor and two male doctors, will assess the claim.
The team will examine the entire hospital for three days before preparing their report.
This will determine whether or not Sadar Hospital fits into the quality category.
Every three years, based on the hospital’s claims, the team visits and investigates, as this certificate is crucial for any hospital.
