Alive and Declared Dead: Jamshedpur Man Fights to Correct Hospital Error

Tamolia Resident Struggles to Prove His Existence After Hospital Mistake

In a bewildering bureaucratic mix-up, Fuchu Hembram, a resident of Tamolia near Jamshedpur, has been mistakenly declared dead by MGM Hospital, despite being alive.

JAMSHEDPUR – Fuchu Hembram is currently embroiled in a struggle to prove his existence after a clerical error at MGM Hospital incorrectly listed him as deceased.

The error came to light when Hembram attempted to obtain a death certificate for his brother-in-law, Haldhar Majhi, who passed away on April 1.

During this process, Hembram was shocked to find his own name recorded as the deceased in the hospital’s documents.

Since discovering the mistake, Hembram has made multiple visits to MGM Hospital, endeavoring to have the error rectified.

Growing increasingly frustrated with the lack of progress, Hembram sought the help of BJP leader Vimal Baitha, who has since been aiding in the resolution of the issue.

MGM Hospital management has requested Hembram to submit an affidavit to facilitate the correction of their records.

Hembram has complied, submitting an application to the MGM Hospital Superintendent, clearly asserting his identity and alive status, and urging for swift correction.
