Jamshedpur: The situation is fast returning to normalcy in Kadma Shashtri Nagar area in Jamshedpur Monday evening as the administration increased its vigil and also tightened its noose on troublemakers from both the sides.
The BJP leader Abhay Singh as well as VHP leaders, including Janardan Pandey, were arrested.
More than 60 people have been arrested so far, while an FIR has been registered naming 120 persons as accused.

Internet Services Remained Suspended for 19 Hours After Violence
After a violent clash between miscreants of two sects in Shastri Nagar block number three under Kadma police station, late on Sunday night, the administration suspended the internet service in Jamshedpur Sunday night. The situation was brought under control, and after 19 hours, the internet service was turned back on Monday evening.
Security forces deployed to maintain order in the region

The entire area of Kadma Shashtri Nagar remained under control on Monday, with no untoward incident taking place anywhere.
A large number of security forces were deployed in the area, including magistrates and top officials, to ensure the safety of the area’s residents.
Security was more stringent in and around block number two, and security forces were also deployed near religious places.
Section 144 was strictly enforced in the entire area, with no celebration or movement from the main road.
DIG of Kolhan and other top officials visit the city to review the situation
The DIG of Kolhan reached the city on Monday and reviewed the situation. He had a meeting with senior officers of the administration, including DC and SSP, before giving the order to restore the internet service.
Dispute between two parties leads to violent clash
A dispute started between two parties in Kadma Shastri Nagar regarding the desecration of the Mahavir flag on Saturday night itself.

On Sunday evening, the violent clash between the two parties started again, and Dy SP Kamal Kishore suffered minor injuries in the stone pelting, while a dozen jawans were also injured. The police took many miscreants into custody and searched all the houses in the area.
A group pelted stones at the security forces from the roof of the religious place, and tear gas was used to disperse the crowd.
Police use CCTV and drone cameras to identify the perpetrators
To identify the miscreants in the Shastri Nagar violence, the police are using CCTV and drone cameras installed in the area.
They are trying to identify the perpetrators of the incidents, including setting a hut shop on fire, setting a car, two autos, and several two-wheelers on fire and vandalizing several vehicles.

60 people arrested and 120 named in FIR
After the violence on Sunday, BJP leader Abhay Singh was taken into custody along with 60 other people. They have been sent to jail, while an FIR has been registered against 120 named and one unknown.
Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Janardan Pandey and his colleagues were arrested and challaned when they came to meet the SSP.
Deputy Commissioner directs cleaning of religious places and roadside encroachments removed
On Monday, the Deputy Commissioner directed the cleaning of the temple and mosque premises, which were left in a state of filth after the stone pelting and the clashes.
The fire fighting team that reached to extinguish the fire cleaned both religious places with water.
The administration removed the encroachment from the roadside with the help of Jusco after Sunday’s incident, and Jusco General Manager Captain Dhananjay also visited the spot to take stock of the road construction work.

Magistrates have been posted in all the sensitive areas of the district after the incident, and flag marches are taking place in the entire area.
