Janardan Pandey Freed After 105 Days in Kadma Violence Case

Bajrang Dal’s Janardan Pandey released from Ghaghidih Central Jail, received warmly by Hindu organizations after 105 days.

JAMSHEDPUR – After spending 105 days in custody due to his alleged involvement in the Kadma riot case, Kolhan convenor of Bajrang Dal, Janardan Pandey, was released from Ghaghidih Central Jail today.

Pandey’s release was conditional on bail provided by the court.

On exiting the prison, Pandey was greeted with a grand reception by members of various Hindu organizations.

The violence in Shastri Nagar, Kadma, had ensued after a Ram Navami procession.

Several individuals from Hindu organizations who had gone to submit a memorandum to the district’s SSP were arrested by the police and charged with involvement in the riots.

Pandey argued that these arrests were part of a larger conspiracy to imprison innocent people on orders from the state government.

He proclaimed the situation as a "dharma yuddha" and stated that being incarcerated for the cause was a matter of pride rather than shame.

Asserting that he will not back down, Pandey pledged to continue the fight without hesitation.
