Residents of many residential areas in Jugsalai, Bagbera, Kadma and Shashtri Nagar remained concerned and watchful.

Water had reached even those areas in Jugsalai and Bagbera that had remained untouched during the last several years.

People from the areas adjoining the river had moved by Saturday evening to safer areas. Several houses in River View Colony and Bagbera Basti, Baroda Ghat area had to be vacated as the residents shifted to safer areas.
