JAMSHEDPUR – A three-day training program for Gram Panchayat Facilitator Teams from Batch 1 and Batch 2 in Patamda Block concluded on January 11. The event, held at the Patamda Block Auditorium, trained participants from 15 panchayats on preparing the Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) for the fiscal year 2025-26.
Comprehensive Training Modules
Participants were educated on conducting inclusive activities under the “Jan Yojana Abhiyan.” Topics included organizing Baal Sabha, Mahila Sabha, VPRP (Village Poverty Reduction Plan), GPCC (Gram Panchayat Coordination Committee), and other committees. Key aspects like sustainable committees, executive bodies, and thematic planning were also discussed.
Trainers and Participation
The program was led by Mukhiya and Master Trainer Kanhu Murmu, supported by co-trainers Sunil Kisku and Santosh Kumar, alongside Block Coordinator Soni Hembram. Attendees included ward members, panchayat secretaries, Anganwadi workers, Jal Sahiyas, MNREGA Mates, and VPRP didis.

Participants pledged to ensure the active participation of villagers in developmental planning. A participant shared, “This training equips us to implement inclusive strategies for community development effectively.”
