Leaders from INTUC, AITUC, and other unions called for the repeal of the four labor codes and the restoration of worker-friendly laws. They also demanded an end to the privatization of public sector enterprises and industrialization of agriculture.
Protesters criticized alleged attempts to alter the Constitution, emphasizing its significance on Constitution Day, also observed on November 26. They expressed concern over increasing unemployment and exploitation, citing extended work hours for laborers.
