JAMSHEDPUR – The National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur (NIT Jamshedpur) has become a pivotal center for advanced learning this week, as it hosts a significant workshop dedicated to the Limit State Design (LSD) of steel structures.
This educational event, running from February 20th to 24th, 2024, has attracted attention from various sectors within the industry.
It caters to a diverse group including building regulatory bodies, governmental construction entities, and professionals in building construction, project management, and product manufacturing, as well as research institutions.
Engineering and architecture faculty and students are also among the attendees, highlighting the workshop’s broad appeal.
The workshop’s agenda covers a comprehensive range of topics related to steel structure design, emphasizing design philosophies, load considerations, connection strategies, and the analysis of various structural members.
This hybrid event, endorsed by the Jharkhand Council on Science, Technology & Innovation and funded by the Government of Jharkhand, marks a significant milestone in the field of civil engineering education and practice.
