Tatanagar-Berhampur Vande Bharat Express set for Trial Run on September 8
The Tatanagar-Berhampur Vande Bharat Express will soon begin operations, providing enhanced travel comfort for passengers in Jharkhand and Odisha.
The trial run is scheduled for September 8, with the potential launch by Prime Minister Modi on September 15.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Tatanagar-Berhampur Vande Bharat Express, which has been avidly anticipated, is scheduled to commence its trial run on September 8, 2024.
This new service is expected to substantially improve the travel experience between Odisha and Jharkhand.
The train will travel the route between Jamshedpur and Berhampur in 9 hours and 10 minutes, according to the South Eastern Railway. The return journey will take 8 hours and 55 minutes.
As part of the introduction of three Vande Bharat Express trains for Jharkhand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is anticipated to flag off the train on September 15, 2024.
This will be the 63rd Vande Bharat train, with other trains connecting Deoghar to Varanasi and Tatanagar to Patna.
The rakes for the Tatanagar-Berhampur route have already arrived in Jamshedpur.
Stations and Timetable
The train will depart from Tatanagar at 5:20 AM and arrive in Berhampur at 2:30 PM.
It will return from Berhampur at 3:00 PM and arrive at Tatanagar by 11:55 PM.
The train will make stops at numerous stations along the way, such as Chaibasa, Dangoaposi, Kendujhargarh, and Bhubaneswar.
To guarantee a rapid and efficient travel, each stop is scheduled for two minutes.
