Chakradharpur Railway Division prepares for launch of high-speed train.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Chakradharpur Division of the South East Railway Zone is getting ready to launch the Vande Bharat Express service between Tatanagar and Patna.

According to a railway official, "This new service will significantly reduce travel time on the 496 km route."

The current train travel time between the two cities is 10–11 hours, but Vande Bharat wants to reduce it to 7 hours.

On the sick line of Tatanagar Railway, work is being done to build an express train maintenance center.

To enable the high-speed service, traction facility modifications and track maintenance are in progress.

"Vande Bharat Express will offer passengers faster and more comfortable travel," said the official.

Currently, Tata-Buxar Express, Bilaspur-Patna Express, and Ara-Durg South Bihar Express service the route.

It is anticipated that this new service will improve regional connectivity and spur growth.

We anticipate the launch date’s official declaration from the Railway Board.

The region’s train services have significantly improved with the launch of Vande Bharat Express.
