Vande Bharat Express to be Flagged Off in Ranchi by PM Modi on June 27

PM Narendra Modi will launch the fastest train Vande Bharat Express in Ranchi on June 27. This inaugural run starts regular operations from June 28.

RANCHI – India’s fastest train, the Vande Bharat Express, is set to be inaugurated in Ranchi on June 27.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the train at 10.30 am through video conferencing.

This will serve as the inaugural run, with the train operating as an inaugural special numbered 02439.

However, this run will not be open to regular passengers.

Regular operations will commence from June 28 and ticket bookings have already begun.

The fare for the executive class from Ranchi to Patna has been fixed at Rs 2110, and the chair car will cost Rs 1175.

For the journey from Patna to Ranchi, passengers will pay Rs 1930 for the executive class and Rs 1025 for the chair car.

The train’s chair car fare is approximately one and a half times higher than that of the Janshatabdi.

The train will depart from Patna at 7 am, arriving in Ranchi at 1 pm.

It will then leave Ranchi at 4.15 pm and reach Patna Junction at 10.05 pm.

The Vande Bharat will operate six days a week, with Tuesday serving as a rest day for weekly maintenance.

The train’s daily safety maintenance will be carried out at the Rajendra Nagar Coaching Complex in Patna, while primary maintenance will take place at both Ranchi and Patna.
