PM Modi to Inaugurate Vande Bharat Express from Ranchi to Patna on June 27
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the new Vande Bharat Express, operating between Ranchi and Patna, set to run six days a week.
RANCHI – On June 27, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the Vande Bharat Express running between Patna and Ranchi through video conferencing.
This train will provide service from Patna to Hatia, following two successful trials on the route by the railways.
The timetable for the train is yet to be announced.
The Ministry of Railways informed that the Vande Bharat Express will operate six days a week, barring Tuesdays.
The train will depart from Patna Junction at 7 am, reach Ranchi at 1 pm and Hatia station by 1:20 pm.
The return journey will start from Hatia at 3:55 pm, stop at Ranchi at 4:10 pm for five minutes, and then proceed to Patna, arriving by 10:10 pm.
Covering a distance of 385 km in 6.15 hours, the train’s average speed is projected to be 61 km/h.
Operations will commence once the timetable receives approval.
Railways believe that this new train will offer a good travel option for the daily commuters between Patna and Ranchi, filling a five-hour gap in the existing schedule.
