Corona claims 1 more life in Jamshedpur on Wednesday, total death toll now 345

Jamshedpur: Coronavirus has claimed 1 more life in Jamshedpur on Wednesday. With this, the total death toll due to covid-19 infection in East Singhbhum district has reached 345.

According to official data, a total of 2,65,496 samples have been tested in the district. Out of these, 15,437 samples have tested positive, while 2,50,058 samples have tested negative.

On Wednesday itself, a total of 97 new coronavirus infection cases were detected, taking the total number of infected persons in the district to 15,437. However, on Wednesday 46 patients were also reported cured and were discharged from different hospitals of the city.

One person has succumbed to the coronavirus infection in the district on Wednesday taking the total death toll due to the virus to 345.

For now, the number of active cases in the district is 1,202.
