Bengal artisans to craft elaborate pandal; enhanced security measures planned
Kadma’s Durga Puja Committee has initiated preparations for a grand celebration with the completion of Bhoomi Pujan at Rankini Temple.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Durga Puja Committee in Kadma kicked off preparations with a Bhoomi Pujan ceremony at Rankini Temple, promising an impressive pandal for this year’s festivities.
Experienced artisans from Kantai, Bengal, will showcase their expertise in crafting the pandal structure and lighting arrangements.
The committee has engaged renowned artist Kedar Mallick to sculpt the idol for this year’s celebration.
A traditional dhaki from Kantai will provide the rhythmic backdrop to the festivities.
Visitors can expect a visually stunning experience with a unique arrangement of colorful lights adorning the pandal.
The organizers have prioritized security, planning to install CCTV cameras throughout the venue.
Both Kadma police station personnel and private security guards will be deployed to ensure a safe environment for all attendees.
Fire extinguishing equipment will be strategically placed as an additional safety measure.
The pandal is anticipated to be a major attraction in Kadma, drawing visitors from across the region.
Committee Chairman Dilip Das and General Secretary Janardan Pandey are leading the organizational efforts.
Other key members include Vice President KG Govind, S. Ramesh Kumar, A.R. Day (Bapi Da), and Harbhajan Singh.
Deepak Vishwas, RMP Singh, PK Singh, Subhash, Nand Kumar, Govind Prasad Singh, and Sanjay Kumar are also contributing to the preparations.
The committee’s dedication promises a memorable Durga Puja celebration for the Kadma community this year.
