Rotary Club Jamshedpur Midtown Launches Multiple Community Projects
New Leadership Inaugurates Computer Centre, Vocational Training, And Healthcare Initiatives
The club’s efforts align with Rotary International’s seven areas of focus, emphasizing service above self.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Midtown (RCJMT) marked the new Rotary Year with the launch of several community-focused projects under newly elected President Preeti Saini.
The initiatives, inaugurated at Adarsh Seva Sansthan in Sonari, include a Computer Centre, Saheli Centre for women’s vocational training, and a Mother-Child Care Centre.
"These projects reflect our commitment to service above self and bringing smiles to those in need," Saini stated during the event.
AG Nikita Mehta, serving as Chief Guest, officially inaugurated the Saheli and Computer Centres.
Dr. Arvind Dinkar and a medical team from Magadh Samrat Hospital conducted health check-ups for 30 children and employees, distributing necessary medicines.
The event also featured a plantation drive, emphasizing environmental consciousness.
Secretary Rajeshwar Jaiswal and the new Board of Directors supported the launch of these diverse initiatives.
Ashish Das briefed attendees on the program’s agenda and the significance of July 1 in the Rotary calendar.
AG Mehta commended RCJMT’s efforts in addressing all seven focus areas of Rotary International.
Members present included Shiva Rama Rao, Sarita, Dr. Jyoti, and Varun Singh, demonstrating strong club participation.
These projects align with this year’s Rotary International Presidential theme, emphasizing perseverance and dedication in community service.
