NSS Department Hosts Wellness Event Promoting Mind-Body Balance

XITE Students embrace ancient practice under guidance of renowned yoga guru.

JAMSHEDPUR – XITE College, Gamharia, a local autonomous institution, celebrated International Day of Yoga, emphasizing holistic health benefits for academic community.

XITE College’s NSS Department organized a vibrant Yoga Day celebration, drawing enthusiastic participation from students.

Renowned yoga expert Mr. Dulal Patra from Jamshedpur led attendees through a series of challenging asanas.

"Yoga connects mind, body, and soul, offering a path to improved concentration and reduced stress," stated Dr. (Fr.) Mukti Clarence, the college’s Vice Principal.

Fifteen dedicated students engaged in various poses, including Shirshasana and Mayurasana, under expert guidance.

The session highlighted the importance of proper breathing techniques and meditation for mental clarity.

NSS Program Officer Mr. Naval Narayan Chaudhary supported the event alongside non-teaching staff members.

Participants learned about the physical and mental benefits associated with each yoga posture.

The celebration underscored XITE College’s commitment to promoting holistic well-being among its student body.

Students expressed enthusiasm about incorporating yoga into their daily routines for improved lifestyle balance.
