CRPF Jawan Killed, Two Injured in Truck Collision on Kandra-Seraikela Road

JAMSHEDPUR – A tragic road accident claimed the life of a CRPF jawan and left two others critically injured on Wednesday night on the Kandra-Seraikela road.
The accident happened around 11 PM near the Jio petrol station at Dugni, under the Seraikela thana area.
Harendra Kunkal, the deceased CRPF jawan, was a resident of Mango.
The police discovered the mishap early Thursday morning, finding three men in a pool of blood, with one trapped under the truck.
Inspector Santosh Gupta of Seraikela stated that the injured were rushed to Seraikela Sadar Hospital, where one was declared dead.
Due to their critical condition, the injured were then moved to MGM Medical College Hospital, with plans to transfer them to Tata Main Hospital.
The truck driver and cleaner fled the scene, abandoning the truck, which has since been seized by the police.
Kunkal was posted at the CRPF’s Battalion VI in Sundarnagar.
An official mentioned that this incident highlights the urgent need for better road safety measures to prevent such tragedies.
Authorities are conducting a thorough investigation and working to apprehend the truck’s driver and cleaner.
