Corona kills 3 in Jamshedpur on Monday, total deaths 335, 80 fresh cases too

Jamshedpur: After a let up for a couple of days, coronavirus has once again started raising level of its fury in the city. On Monday it killed 3 patients, taking the total death toll in the city to 335.

Those who succumbed to the virus on Monday included a 74-year-old from Birsanagar. He died during treatment in TMH. Similarly, a 60-year-old male died in Brahmanand Hospital. A 73-year-old male died in MGMCH too.

Meanwhile, according to official data, 80 fresh coronavirus infection cases were also detected in the city. With this the total number of infections for the district has reached 14,961.

Similarly, 106 patients were also cured and discharged from hospitals and home quarantine. The recovery rate for the city has now reached 89 percent, while the number of active cases in the district has reached 1,417.
