Youth attacked with blade in Jugsalai, injured seriously in neck

Jamshedpur: Four miscreants attacked a youth named Sonu with blade near Shiv Ghat under the jurisdiction of Jugsalai police station in Jamshedpur on Sunday injuring him seriously. The injured youth is being treated at MGMCH and is stated to be in a serious condition.

According to injured Sonu, he had allegedly an altercation with four other youths a few days back. On Sunday, when he reached the river for taking a bath, the four attacked him and assaulted him bad. Later, he said, they also attacked him with a blade injuring him in the neck.

The locals, somehow, intervened and rushed the injured youth Sonu to MGMCH.

Police are now investigating the case. The four youths who attacked Sonu managed to escape from the site of occurrence. Injured Sonu, in his statement, has named the attackers as Amar, Hero, Dani and Lalla. Police are looking for them.
