JAMSHEDPUR – Authorities have established a comprehensive security network to ensure fair and peaceful Assembly Elections in 2024.

The Jamshedpur administration has intensified its efforts to safeguard the upcoming Assembly Elections.

Acting on District Election Officer Ananya Mittal’s directives, officials have implemented robust security measures.

Moreover, 12 inter-state and 6 inter-district check posts are now fully operational.

These checkpoints aim to curb the movement of illegal items that could influence the election outcome.

In addition, the administration has strategically placed checkpoints along borders with West Bengal and Odisha.

Key locations include Chakulia block, Shishakhun, and Darisol along the West Bengal border.

Furthermore, checkpoints at Jamshola, Tetuldanga, and Muchrishol monitor the Odisha border.

Within Jamshedpur city, authorities have established additional checkpoints to prevent unlawful activities.

Meanwhile, webcasting technology enables real-time oversight of all movement across these critical zones.

The public has been advised to carry valid documentation, particularly when transporting valuable items.

On the other hand, vehicles will undergo thorough inspections at these checkpoints.

Authorities aim to maintain strict vigilance throughout the election period to protect the democratic process.

"We are committed to ensuring a free and fair election," stated a knowledgeable source within the administration.

However, the administration seeks to minimize inconvenience to the general public during these security measures.
