BJP Holds Massive Protest in Jamshedpur Against Arrest of Party Leaders
Massive Jamshedpur protest by BJP against arrest of party leaders; state-wide movement launched for justice and release of innocents.
Jamshedpur – A large-scale protest was organized in front of the district headquarters in Jamshedpur on Monday, led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to protest against the recent arrest of BJP and Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) leaders in the Shashtri Nagar incident case.
The leaders were arrested in connection with the violence that took place in the Kadma Shastri Nagar area.

The protest saw hundreds of BJP workers, both men and women, joining forces with the party’s state president, Deepak Prakash, and District MP Bidyut Baran Mahato.
United in their opposition to the police action, the protestors shouted slogans denouncing the Hemant Soren government.
Deepak Prakash claimed that innocent people had been jailed under pressure from the state government, while the actual culprits remained at large.

He further accused the government of imprisoning nationalist leaders due to political pressure. The protest, he said, marked the beginning of a larger movement aimed at securing justice for those wrongly imprisoned.
The BJP has planned additional protests in Ghatshila on May 11 and Seraikela on May 12, under the leadership of BJP Legislature Party leader Babulal Marandi. Prakash emphasized that the movement would extend beyond Jamshedpur, spreading across the state until the innocent were released.
