Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren has joined the BJP after leaving his former party JMM, strengthening the party’s position.

JAMSHEDPUR – Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren has joined the BJP, with party leader Shiv Shankar Singh welcoming the move.

Shiv Shankar Singh, a BJP leader and social worker, expressed his warm welcome to Champai Soren.

"The BJP family extends a heartfelt welcome to Jharkhand’s movement leader and Kolhan Tiger, Shri Champai Soren ji," Singh stated.

He believes this move will bolster BJP’s commitment to freeing Jharkhand from infiltrators, brokers, corrupt officers, and dynastic forces.

Singh praised Soren for establishing new dimensions in politics through his capable leadership of the state.

He highlighted Soren’s decision to choose the path of struggle, abandoning power for the sake of public interest.

The BJP leader anticipates that Soren’s inclusion will further strengthen the party.

Singh predicts that the upcoming assembly elections will result in a BJP government with a full majority.

The move is seen as a significant political development in Jharkhand’s political landscape.
