Tatanagar Station Foot Overbridge Construction Accelerated

New Escalator Installed, Overbridge to Open by July

In a significant push towards enhancing passenger amenities at Tatanagar railway station, the construction of a new foot overbridge has been accelerated. This development comes in the wake of a directive from Chakradharpur Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Arun J Rathore, underscoring the commitment to passenger convenience and safety.

JAMSHEDPUR – The DRM’s campaign to assess and improve passenger facilities at Tatanagar station has led to immediate action on the foot overbridge, with a new escalator also being installed on platform number one.

This move is part of a broader initiative to ensure that the station’s infrastructure meets the growing demands of its passengers.

The installation of the new escalator is a testament to the ongoing enhancements aimed at facilitating ease of access across the station’s platforms.

With the directive from DRM Arun J Rathore, the railway authorities are working diligently to ensure the foot overbridge is ready for use by July.

During his visit on March 24, the DRM reviewed various passenger amenities, leading to the expedited construction of the overbridge.

The focus on completing the foot overbridge construction promptly reflects the railway’s dedication to improving travel experiences for passengers at Tatanagar station.
