Hemant Soren Launches ₹212 Crore Projects, Bolsters Education & Welfare
In a significant move to enhance education and welfare, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren inaugurated schemes worth ₹62 crore and laid the foundation for projects worth ₹150 crore in Barhet, Sahibganj.
SAHIBGANJ – Chief Minister Hemant Soren reaffirmed his commitment to bolstering education and welfare in Jharkhand during the Aapki Yojana Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar program in Barhet, Sahibganj.
He launched initiatives totaling ₹212 crore, encompassing various development schemes and educational support.
Soren emphasized the Jharkhand government’s ongoing efforts to connect citizens with beneficial schemes, citing the success of similar camps in 2021 and 2022, which garnered approximately 80 lakh applications.
He expressed confidence in the third phase of the scheme-connecting initiative, aimed at furthering public welfare and development.
The Chief Minister highlighted the government’s initiative for continuous application review and status updates via mobile, ensuring transparency and accessibility in the application process.
Under the Savitribai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana, the Jharkhand government has expanded benefits to all girls in a family, removing the previous limit of two beneficiaries.
Soren announced the provision of 1 kg of pulses through ration cards, enhancing nutritional support for families.
The Guruji Student Credit Card Scheme was introduced, offering financial assistance to students pursuing degree courses post their 12th standard, establishing a "guarantor government" for educational support.
Chief Minister Soren’s participation in the Aapki Yojana Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar program marked a significant step in enhancing educational and welfare support in the region.
