Construction is progressing rapidly on a new foot overbridge at Tatanagar station, with completion targeted for July to improve passenger access.

JAMSHEDPUR – Construction is progressing rapidly on a new foot overbridge at Tatanagar station, with completion targeted for July to improve passenger access.

The reservation center is preparing to cast stairs for the overbridge in the coming days.

Chakradharpur Divisional Railway Manager, Arun J Rathore, recently inspected the station’s facilities and urged the acceleration of this project.

This push is part of a broader effort to install lifts and escalators at the station, enhancing accessibility.

Stairs on other platforms are already in place, and work on constructing protective sheds will begin soon.
