The Tatanagar Improvement Group has conducted a meticulous inspection of Tatanagar station, leading to several improvement directives aimed at enhancing passenger convenience and station efficiency.
JAMSHEDPUR – The inspection team, led by Station Superintendent OP Sharma, included key personnel like Commercial Inspector Shashi Kumar and Senior Section Engineer J Haldar. They thoroughly assessed the station from platform to portico.
Stall operators have been directed to offer cold bottled water, ensure adherence to pricing, and maintain 24/7 operations.
Further directives include accelerating the construction of the foot overbridge and ensuring cold water availability for passengers.
The maintenance of essential platform facilities like the coach display board has also been prioritized.
Efforts to address any deficiencies with the help of various departments, including Engineering and Health, are crucial to reducing passenger inconvenience.
