ABVP Jamshedpur Demands CBI Probe into Exam Scandal
Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad stages protest for CBI investigation into JSSC exam paper leak.
ABVP members in Jamshedpur call for strict action against culprits of the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission exam paper leak.
JAMSHEDPUR – Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad’s Jamshedpur Metropolitan unit organized a dharna at Sakchi, demanding a CBI probe into the JSSC exam scandal.
The protest highlighted the sale of exam papers for Rs 25 lakhs, undermining the integrity of competitive examinations in Jharkhand.
ABVP activists argue that the involvement of senior officers in the scam necessitates a CBI investigation, as junior state officers are unable to conduct a fair inquiry.
The student body emphasized that the scandal has eroded trust in the examination system, particularly among the state’s impoverished aspirants.
The call to action saw support from retired IPS Rajeev Ranjan Singh, who expressed solidarity with the protesting students.
Participants including Yash Agrahari, Deepak Thakur, and Anoop Pandey voiced their demand for the stringent punishment of all involved in the corruption.
The ABVP’s demonstration reflects a wider call for transparency and accountability in public recruitment processes.
