ABVP Celebrates 76th Foundation Day in Ghatsila
Ceremony held at Anindita Hotel with the formation of new Ghatsila Nagar unit.
The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) celebrated its 76th Foundation Day with a ceremony at Anindita Hotel in Dahigoda, Ghatsila.
JAMSHEDPUR – The 76th Foundation Day of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) was celebrated in Ghatsila with a grand ceremony at Anindita Hotel, Dahigoda.
The event began with the garlanding of portraits of Goddess Saraswati and Swami Vivekananda, followed by the lighting of a ceremonial lamp.
The chief guest of the event was Basant Ji, the district intellectual head of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
Amit Hazra, the co-convener of Kolhan University, delivered the welcome address, and the vote of thanks was given by the work department convener.
Following the ceremony, the Ghatsila Nagar unit of the ABVP was formed.
Harsh Rai was appointed as the Nagar Minister.
Other key appointments included Raman Singh as Nagar President, Debashish Manna and MD Shahid as Vice Presidents, Samu Murmu, Abhishek Chaudhary, Ankit Sharma, and Akash Shah as Co-Ministers, Ajay Shah as Media In-Charge, Vikas Srivastava as Assistant Media In-Charge, Savyam Sharma as Office Minister, Prithvi Sharma as Assistant Office Minister, Piyush Pal as Social Media In-Charge, Neeraj Bhagat as Assistant Social Media In-Charge, Jagdish Pal and Devansh Singh as SFD Heads, Rakesh Mahato as Arts Head, Manoj Dhulli as Treasurer, and Ganesh Agarwal as Assistant Treasurer.
The Nagar Executive Committee included Rohit Sharma, Sujan Giri, Akash Narayan Dev, Devanand Bhagat, Kaushik Mahapatra, Akash Samantray, Prem Das, Rahul Kumar, and Roshan Sharma.
Newly elected Nagar Minister Harsh Rai pledged to further the organization’s objectives with the support of all members.
Rai highlighted ABVP’s continuous work over the past 76 years towards national reconstruction and student welfare.
He emphasized the significant role of students in the nation’s future, stating, "Students are today’s citizens, and their efforts will ensure a bright future for the nation."
Amit Hazra also reiterated the importance of student power as national power.
The event concluded with Amit Hazra, Dinesh Valmiki, and Vivek Mahapatra extending their best wishes to all newly elected officials.
