JAMSHEDPUR – Bagbera Colony recently witnessed a substantial clean-up operation, marking a significant improvement in the area’s cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Following discussions, there’s a plan to expand the cleaning operations to other parts of Bagbera Colony to tackle garbage accumulation comprehensively.
BDO Sudha Verma has directed Panchayat Secretary Bablu Namta to initiate cleanliness efforts in additional areas of Bagbera Colony, indicating an extended focus on community hygiene.
The clean-up initiative, supervised by Panchayat Secretary Bablu Namta and funded by the DC’s personal expenses, showcases the administration’s commitment to public health and cleanliness.
Local representatives, including Deputy Chief Santosh Thakur, Panchayat Committee member Sunil Gupta, and Ward members Seema Pandey and Anisha Singha, praised the efforts of DC Ananya Mittal and BDO Sudha Verma for their decisive action in improving the locality’s conditions.
The clean-up effort was prompted by a tweet from Ward Member representative Ajit Singha, highlighting the need for immediate action to address the garbage issue in Bagbera Colony.
