Amidst the current heatwave, residents have been advised to take necessary precautions.
A yellow alert for a heat wave warning has been issued for Friday.
The warning covers various districts, including Simdega, Godda, Pakur, Dumka, Deoghar, Jamtara, Dhanbad, Bokaro, East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, and Seraikela.
Forecasts suggest temperatures will continue to rise, marking April as potentially hotter than previous years.
On Thursday, Jamshedpur experienced its highest temperatures, with the mercury reaching 42 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature recorded in the city was 23.6 degrees Celsius.
