JAMSHEDPUR – The onset of April has brought with it scorching temperatures, prompting schools in Jamshedpur to readjust their class timings in a bid to protect students from the harsh weather conditions.

The Met Department has issued a yellow alert, forecasting hot winds for the next four days, as people take to covering themselves from head to foot while venturing outdoors and consuming cold drinks, especially fruit juices, as a means of finding relief from the heat.

In response to the challenging conditions, several schools have proactively altered their timings to prioritize the well-being of their students.

Loyola School and Bistupur DAV School are among the educational institutions that have modified their schedules to accommodate the prevailing heat wave.

At DAV School, classes will now be conducted between 6:30 am and 12:15 pm, with the Principal stressing the importance of ensuring that students are adequately fed before attending school.
