Thousands gather at Sakchi Jama Masjid under intense heat for the last Friday prayers of Ramzan, with a sermon emphasizing unity and peace for Eid.
JAMSHEDPUR – Thousands of worshippers congregated at Sakchi Jama Masjid to partake in the Alvida Jumma prayers, marking the conclusion of Ramzan amidst a scorching 41 degrees Celsius.
The Ulema’s sermon during the prayers highlighted the essence of Eid as a festival promoting unity and peace, urging the community to uphold these values.
Devotees expressed their hopes to be able to observe the holy month again next year, reflecting on the sadness of Ramzan’s end.
Multiple mosques throughout the city, including Masjid-e-Rehman Sakchi, Ambagan Masjid, Dhatkidih Masjid, and others, saw devotees offering their last Friday prayers of the month.
The Ulema also made an appeal to those observing the fast to celebrate Eid with happiness and peace, emphasizing the spiritual and communal harmony that characterizes the festival.
