Tragic Death of Sanjay Kumar Bhengra Due to Heat Stroke in West Singhbhum

Sanjay Kumar Bhengra, headmaster of Utkramit Madhya Vidyalaya Chhota Raikman in Kumardungi block, succumbed to heat stroke after issuing transfer certificates to students.

CHAIBASA – The headmaster of Utkramit Madhya Vidyalaya Chhota Raikman, Sanjay Kumar Bhengra, passed away due to a heat stroke after returning from school duties.

Bhengra, who was approximately 45 years old, traveled from Khunti to his school on Wednesday to issue transfer certificates to students who passed the 8th board examination.

He returned to Khunti on Thursday, but his health deteriorated rapidly.

He collapsed at his home and was immediately taken to Khunti Hospital.

Despite medical efforts, he died at around 2 pm on Friday.

Bhengra was a dedicated and cheerful educator, well-liked by colleagues and students alike.

His sudden demise has left a void among the teaching community in the district.

Teachers Krishna Devgam, Damu Sundi, Sanjay Heranje, Narayan Sirka, and others have expressed deep sorrow over his passing.

Bhengra joined the teaching profession in 2015 and was known for his sociable nature and dedication to his students.

The announcement of the 8th board examination results during the summer vacation led to his urgent visit to the school.

His death highlights the severe impact of extreme heat conditions on health.

Colleagues remember him as a responsible and friendly individual.

The education community mourns the loss of a committed teacher who served with dedication.

This incident underscores the need for precautions during extreme weather conditions.
