Coronavirus claims 1 more life in Jamshedpur on Sunday, total deaths 364 now

Recovery rate improves to 95%, Only 441 active cases in East Singhbhum


Jamshedpur: Coronavirus has claimed one more life on Sunday in Jamshedpur. On Friday and Saturday too, it had claimed one life in the city. With this, the total fatality in the city due to coronavirus has now reached 364.

According to official data, on Sunday itself 12 more coronavirus positive cases were detected taking the total number of infections in East Singhbhum district to 16,404.

As per official data, the districts tested 3,33,598 samples till Sunday. Out of these, 16,404 samples have tested positive, while 3,17,194 samples have tested negative.

On Sunday, on the other hand, 98 persons were also cured and discharged from different hospitals and home quarantine. Till date, 15,599 persons have been cured and discharged in the district.

For now, East Singhbhum district has 441 active cases of coronavirus infection.

The recovery rate for East Singhbhum district has now climbed to 95%, while the mortality still remains at 2.2%. The positivity rate has come down slightly to 4.9%, however.
