JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Football Academy’s Grassroots Football Festival brought together 237 young players, highlighting the region’s growing football enthusiasm.

The festival took place at TFA facilities in Jamshedpur on Wednesday. It was a key component of the ongoing D License course.

Moreover, the event featured students from three local grassroots centers. These included Loyola Football Grassroots School and Carmel Junior College.

Additionally, the Jamshedpur FC Tinplate Grassroots Football Open Center participated. This diverse representation showcased the wide reach of grassroots football initiatives in the area.

Eighteen Jamshedpur FC grassroots coaches actively supported the young footballers. Their involvement provided valuable guidance to the participants.

Kundan Chandra, Head of Grassroots & Development, emphasized the festival’s significance. He stated, "The Grassroots Football Festival is vital for developing young players."

Furthermore, Chandra highlighted the event’s role in fostering a love for football. This aligns with TFA’s commitment to nurturing local talent.

The festival received crucial support from key figures in grassroots development. Arshad Hussain, Rahul Raj, and Sourav Kumar played important roles in organizing the event.

On the other hand, the festival also served as a platform for another exciting announcement. Tickets for Jamshedpur FC’s upcoming ISL home match were unveiled.

Parents and children had the honor of revealing these tickets. This gesture connected the grassroots initiative with professional football in the region.

Jamshedpur FC’s first home match is scheduled against Mumbai FC. The game will take place on September 21st at JRD Sports Complex.
