Telco Gurudwara to Host Nagar Kirtan on Guru’s Birth Anniversary

Jamshedpur’s Telco Gurudwara Announces Major Decisions at CGPC Meet

On the occasion of Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s 357th birth anniversary, Telco Gurudwara in Jamshedpur is set to host a grand Nagar Kirtan, as decided in a significant CGPC meeting focusing on various religious and administrative resolutions.

JAMSHEDPUR – Sardar Narendrapal Singh concluded the CGPC meeting with a vote of thanks, highlighting the collective effort required for the successful celebration of Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s birth anniversary.

The Sikh census in Jamshedpur was a key topic, with distribution of forms to all Gurdwara heads to ensure accurate representation.

Pradhan Bhagwan Singh, along with other leaders, underscored their dedication to the successful organization of Prakash Parv through the planned Nagar Kirtan.

To uphold the sanctity of Guru Granth Sahib, a ban on small-town kirtans, effective from January 1, was endorsed by Vice President Kuldeep Singh Shergil.

This decision aims to concentrate efforts on the two major city kirtans held annually in Jamshedpur.

Transparency in financial dealings for religious events was emphasized, with Sikh Naujawan Sabha being designated as the sole body for revenue collection from institutions.

Tara Singh of Sonari Gurdwara proposed this initiative to regulate donations.

Various organizational aspects of the Nagar Kirtan were discussed, with Gurmeet Singh Tote, Chairman of the meeting, supporting Telco Gurudwara as the venue.

Unanimously agreed upon, the decision to regulate donations received by organizations from Sangat was a highlight, bringing them under the local Gurudwara Committees’ oversight.

The 357th birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh Ji will be marked with a grand Nagar Kirtan at Telco Gurudwara, as decided in a pivotal meeting of CGPC representatives.
