Brahmin Community Prepares for Major Celebration at Regal Ground
Jamshedpur to host a grand gathering for Lord Shri Parashuram’s birth anniversary on June 9, uniting 25,000 Brahmin families.
JAMSHEDPUR – The birth anniversary of Lord Shri Parashuram will be celebrated with a grand family reunion at Regal Ground in Jamshedpur on Sunday, June 9.
The Brahmin community in the city is eagerly anticipating the event, which has been widely publicized and included several police station-wise meetings to ensure smooth organization.
A press conference was held on Friday by the Lord Shri Parashuram Janmotsav Samiti at a hotel in Bhalubasa.
Retired Deputy Superintendent of Police Kamal Kishore, the founder of the committee and chief coordinator of the event, addressed the media.
He announced a large-scale program at Bistupur Regal Ground to unite Brahmin families in a familial manner.
The event will start at 4 pm with a collective Swasti recitation and Pushpanjali cum Aarti of Lord Parashuram by 101 priests from Dharma Rakshini Mahasabha.
The evening will feature devotional performances by renowned Bhojpuri singers Indu Sonali and Chandan Tiwari, along with their teams.
Invitation cards have been sent to 25,000 Brahmin families for the event, and food arrangements will be made for all attendees.
Divendu Tripathi will deliver a lecture on Lord Parshuram during the gathering.
Various committees have been formed to ensure the event’s success, including the welcome committee, food committee, arrangements committee, cultural program committee, traffic committee, media cell, and transport committee.
A 25-member head team has also been nominated to supervise these committees.
Kamal Kishore, Rakeshwar Pandey, Manas Mishra, Nakul Tiwari, Munna Choubey, Omprakash Upadhyay, Srinivas Tiwari, Ved Prakash Upadhyay, Harendra Mishra, Rajesh Jha, Ravindra Mishra, Dhanurdhar Tripathi, Appu Tiwari, Anand Ojha, advocate Pawan Tiwari, Vijay Tiwari, Chotan Mishra, Arvind Pandey, Ravishankar Tiwari, and Sanjeev Acharya were present at the press conference.
The event promises to be a significant celebration for the Brahmin community in Jamshedpur, fostering unity and cultural pride.
