Grand Celebration Marks Lord Parashuram’s Birth Anniversary
Thousands of Brahmin Families Gather at Regal Ground, Jamshedpur
The birth anniversary of Lord Shri Parashuram was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the Brahmin community in Jamshedpur, as thousands of families gathered at Regal Ground, Bistupur, for a grand family get-together and event.
JAMSHEDPUR – The program, organized by the Lord Shri Parashuram Janmotsav Samiti, began with 101 priests from the Dharma Rakshini Mahasabha reciting Swasti, offering flowers, and performing Aarti to the statue of Lord Parashuram.
Labor leader Rakeshwar Pandey delivered the welcome speech, followed by a lecture on Lord Parashuram by chief speaker Divendu Tripathi.
Notable figures such as Dr. Arvind Kumar Pandey, former Additional Chief Secretary of the Jharkhand Government, educationist Dr. Tripura Jha, and Manas Mishra, former Deputy Plant Head of Tata Motors, addressed the gathering.
Honoring Brahmins for Their Contributions
The Lord Shri Parashuram Janmotsav Samiti took the opportunity to honor Brahmins who have made significant contributions to society and remain active in their fields.
Among those honored were labor leaders, retired police officers, cultural council presidents, and members of the Dharma Rakshini Mahasabha.
Appu Tiwari, founder of the Brahmin Yuva Shakti Sangh, presented a special honor to retired Deputy Superintendent of Police Kamal Kishore for his efforts in uniting the Brahmin community.
Cultural and Devotional Music Evening
The second session of the program featured a cultural and devotional music evening, with performances by renowned Bhojpuri singers Indu Sonali and Chandan Tiwari, along with their team.
Their soulful renditions of devotional songs enthralled the audience, adding to the spiritual atmosphere of the event.
Organizing Committees and Prasad Arrangements
To ensure the smooth execution of the grand event, several sub-committees were formed under the coordination of Kamal Kishore.
These committees included the welcome committee, food committee, arrangements committee, cultural program committee, traffic committee, media cell, and transport committee.
A 25-member arrangements head was also nominated to oversee the functioning of these committees.
Invitation cards were sent to 25,000 Brahmin families, and prasad was arranged for all the guests attending the event.
Key organizers who played a notable role in the success of the program included Kamal Kishore, Rakeshwar Pandey, Nakul Tiwari, Munna Choubey, Omprakash Upadhyay, Srinivas Tiwari, Vedprakash Upadhyay, Harendra Mishra, Rajesh Jha, Ravindra Mishra, Dhanurdhar Tripathi, Appu Tiwari, Anand ji Ojha, advocate Pawan Tiwari, Vijay Tiwari, Chotan Mishra, Arvind Pandey, Ravishankar Tiwari, and Sanjeev Acharya, among others.
The grand celebration of Lord Parashuram’s birth anniversary served as a platform to bring together the Brahmin community, honor their contributions, and promote a sense of unity and belonging among the families in Jamshedpur.
