‘Your Scheme, Your Government, At Your Doorstep’: CM at Khunti Event

Khunti witnesses significant development initiatives under the Chief Minister’s leadership.

RANCHI – The Chief Minister of Jharkhand participated in the ‘Aapki Yojana, Aapki Sarkar, Aapke Dwar’ program in Khunti, marking a significant step in regional development.

The event, part of the third phase of the program, has so far received over 64,000 applications in Khunti.

Notably, more than 34,000 of these applications pertain to the Abua housing scheme.

During the program, the foundation stone for 76 projects worth ₹437.48 crore was laid, and 27 schemes worth ₹406.20 crore were inaugurated. Additionally, assets totaling ₹88.64 crore were distributed to 11,841 beneficiaries.

The program covered beneficiaries from various schemes, including 4,737 from the KCC and 15 from the Chief Minister Employment Generation Scheme.

In his address, the Chief Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to bringing administrative services directly to the people, eliminating the need for intermediaries. He assured that any misconduct by middlemen would be met with stern action.

The Chief Minister also encouraged daughters to pursue higher education, highlighting the support available through the Guruji Student Credit Card Scheme, including 100% scholarships for education abroad. He acknowledged the exceptional performance of Jharkhand’s daughters in sports and mentioned the new policy providing incentive money to athletes, with plans to offer jobs to players in the future.

In related news, State Chief Minister Hemant Soren is scheduled to visit Manjhari tomorrow, with extensive preparations underway.
