3-Day Rakhi Mela of Marwari Mahila Manch Begins Sunday, to Empower Women in Jamshedpur

Marwari Mahila Manch in Jamshedpur is hosting a three-day Rakhi Mela aimed at empowering women by providing a platform for them to showcase their products.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Jamshedpur chapter of Marwari Mahila Manch (MMM) has announced plans to host a three-day Rakhi Mela with exhibition and sale features.

The event is being organized to provide a platform to women to showcase their skills and products. The Mela is slated to be held at Tulsi Bhawan in Bistupur from July 16 to July 18.

The MMM has been hosting this event as a part of their ongoing efforts to empower women over the last 30 years. Women from various places, including Jamshedpur, Chaibasa, Ranchi, Kolkata, and Mumbai, are expected to participate, setting up stalls to display their range of products.

The Rakhi Mela is not just about Rakhi and gifts. A diverse range of products, including bed linens, Laddu Gopal outfits, bandhanwar, sarees, kurtis, and home décor items will be available at the fair. Additionally, traditional food items like khajla, mangodis, papads, and homemade pickles will also be on sale at affordable prices.

Preparations are in full swing, with all members of the organization actively participating. The fair will be open every day from 10 am to 9 pm, allowing visitors ample time to browse through the stalls and make their purchases.
