The All India Sahitya Parishad’s Jamshedpur unit heralded the Hindu New Year, Vikram Samvat 2081, with a distinguished Poetry Conference at Cable Town’s CWA Hall, marking a tradition of cultural and literary reverence.

JAMSHEDPUR – Welcoming the onset of Vikram Samvat 2081, the All India Sahitya Parishad in Jamshedpur organized a celebratory Poetry Conference on the occasion of the Hindu New Year, drawing a gathering of poets and literary aficionados to Cable Town’s CWA Hall.

The event, presided over by the renowned Ghazal emperor Shailendra Pandey ‘Shail’, showcased a blend of high culture, simplicity, and literary excellence, resonating with the spirit of the New Year.

Manoj Kumar Singh graced the occasion as the chief guest, contributing significantly to the event’s stature and depth, while Santosh Choubey adeptly conducted the proceedings, ensuring a smooth flow of poetic expressions.

Rajendra Singh, the organization’s minister, crafted the program’s framework, which was lauded for its sophistication and grandeur, illustrating the rich tapestry of Indian literary traditions.

The conference featured an impressive roster of poets and literati, including Jayant Srivastava, Brajendra Nath Mishra, Mamchand Aggarwal Vasant, Nivedita Srivastava, and many others, each presenting their unique literary creations that enriched the gathering with diverse poetic flavors.

The collective presence and presentations of esteemed patrons, literature lovers, and luminaries added a commendable depth to the celebration, highlighting the community’s dedication to fostering literary arts.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Soni Sugandha, encapsulating a day of reflective joy and intellectual fellowship among participants, and reaffirming the importance of literature in celebrating cultural milestones like the Hindu New Year.
