JAMSHEDPUR – A resident of Baliguma, Jamshedpur, has denied allegations of inappropriate behavior with a neighbor’s child, presenting CCTV footage to refute the claims.
A Kumar Pandey, the accused, faced allegations from his neighbor, who reported the incident to the authorities. However, Pandey described the accusations as baseless and shared CCTV footage with the media. In the footage, children from the neighborhood can be seen throwing potatoes at Pandey for a prolonged period while he was feeding cows. Frustrated by their behavior, Pandey retaliated by throwing cow dung at one of the children.
Despite this, the neighbors accused him of inappropriate conduct with a child. Addressing the media, Pandey stated, “The CCTV footage clearly shows what actually happened that day. I did nothing wrong.”
Meanwhile, Patamda DSP, who arrived to inspect the matter, confirmed that a complaint of misconduct had been filed. “Both parties are neighbors, and the matter involves serious allegations. We are carefully reviewing the CCTV footage. The truth will be uncovered after a thorough investigation,” the DSP said.
The incident has sparked discussions among local residents, with opinions divided. Some emphasize the need for a fair probe, while others believe the CCTV evidence should be considered as crucial in determining the facts.
