Saryu Roy lays foundation for schemes worth over Rs 21 crore in Jamshedpur East

MLA inaugurates projects under MLA Fund, Urban Development, and Road Construction Departments

Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy laid the foundation stone and inaugurated various schemes costing more than Rs 21 crore on Saturday, including projects under the MLA Fund, Urban Development Department, and Road Construction Department. The foundation stone laying ceremony took place at Son Mandap in Sidhgora for 44 schemes worth Rs 5.08 crore in the Eastern Assembly constituency.

JAMSHEDPUR – Roy visited the site and laid the foundation stone of two schemes costing Rs 15 crore 91 lakh, approved by the Road Construction Department, which includes the construction of many big and wide roads in Baridih, Birsanagar, Bhuiyandih, Gemco Manifeet. The MLA emphasized that the construction of the schemes should be of quality and completed on time for dedication to the citizens.

Apart from these schemes worth Rs 21 crore, Roy also started the work of installing 400 solar lights from Kalyannagar in Bhuyandih and inaugurated the installation of a new 200 KW transformer in Arjun Colony, Moharda, and the installation of paver blocks around Shiv Mandir in HUDCO Colony, Telco. All these inauguration and foundation stone laying programs took place between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Preparing for Lok Sabha elections

Roy mentioned that the Model Code of Conduct will come into force as soon as the notification for Lok Sabha elections is issued, prohibiting the implementation of new schemes during this period. He instructed that the remaining schemes should be surveyed and estimates prepared for quick implementation after the code of conduct ends in May.

Focusing on small schemes

The MLA asked workers to prepare details of small schemes in their areas for the Lok Sabha elections, identifying the need for roads, drains, community buildings, etc., to ensure their completion within four months after the elections.

"Whatever schemes are left, those schemes should be surveyed and the estimates should be prepared so that as soon as the code of conduct ends after May, they can be implemented quickly," Roy stated.

On the occasion of foundation stone laying, mainly MP representative Sanjeev Kumar, Deputy Municipal Commissioner of JNAC Krishna Kumar, MLA Public Facilities representative Hareram Singh, Secretary Sudhir Singh, MP representative Eastern Assembly Chandrashekhar Mishra, P Vijay Kumar, Manoj Singh Ujjain, Chandrasekhar Rao Jamshedpur. Axis Assistant Engineer Prabhakar Kumar, Junior Engineer Nitesh Kumar, Vijay Narayan Singh, Raghavendra Pratap, Vinod Yadav, Golden Pandey along with BJM workers and residents of the area were present.
