Saryu Roy ensures welfare through Sarvajan Pension Scheme

Jamshedpur East’s Saryu Roy oversees the distribution of pension benefits, reflecting a significant step towards social welfare and support for the elderly, widows, and disabled.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a significant move towards enhancing social welfare, Jamshedpur East legislator Saryu Roy facilitated the distribution of Sarvajan Pension Approval Certificates to 530 beneficiaries at his office in Baridih.

The recipients included 397 individuals aged 60 and above, 111 widows, single, and abandoned women, and 22 disabled persons.

The pension application process was managed by Roy’s office, with approvals granted by the Jamshedpur Circle Officer.

Beneficiaries are set to receive a monthly pension of Rs 1000 each following the distribution of certificates.

Roy emphasized his commitment to the pension initiative, assuring timely distribution for pending certificates.

His office supports various government welfare schemes, including lunch and free coaching for children.

The distribution event, led by office in-charge Ashok Kumar and supervised by Amit Kumar and Birendra Singh, witnessed a gathering of dignitaries and beneficiaries, marking a streamlined effort to deliver pension benefits.
