Strict Compliance and Vehicle Checks Enforced for Fair Elections

Officials in Jamshedpur reinforce the Model Code of Conduct with vehicle checks and GPS tracking for upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

JAMSHEDPUR – In light of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, a meticulous review of election preparedness was conducted in Bodam and Patmada blocks by District Election Officer Ananya Mittal and Senior Superintendent of Police Kishore Kaushal.

The meeting underscored the importance of conducting elections with utmost transparency and accuracy, with a focus on using GPS for enhanced mobility monitoring.

Officials, including Deputy Development Commissioner Manish Kumar and Senior Superintendent of Police Kishore Kaushal, reviewed crucial election readiness aspects, from cluster arrangements to polling station infrastructure.

A variety of strategies were discussed to ensure the integrity of the election process, including rigorous vehicle checks at strategic points and adherence to the Model Code of Conduct.

The assembly emphasized voter awareness, highlighting initiatives like rangoli and signature campaigns at block headquarters to boost voter turnout on Election Day, May 25th.

Instructions for polling parties to navigate on foot from clusters to booths were detailed, aiming to ensure timely and secure polling operations.

The collaborative review involved high-ranking officials across multiple departments, deliberating on comprehensive measures to secure a fair and efficient electoral process.

Emphasizing the role of technology in elections, officers were instructed to utilize GPS tracking for the mobility of polling teams, enhancing the oversight of election activities.
