Gold Jewellery worth Lakh Stolen from Tata Motors Employee’s Home
Thieves break into a Tata Motors employee’s residence in Telco Colony, making off with gold jewelry worth seven to eight lakh rupees.
JAMSHEDPUR – A Tata Motors employee, Suresh Sharma, fell victim to burglary on Sunday night as thieves broke into his home in Telco Colony.
Upon returning home at 9:30 PM, Sharma discovered the disruption and immediately informed the police.
Suresh, who serves as the head of industrial relations at Tata Motors, had spent his Sunday evening in Birsanagar, as he later revealed to the police.
The sight of his scattered household belongings greeted him when he reached his residence.
The thieves reportedly made off with approximately 140 grams of gold jewelry, valued at around seven to eight lakh rupees.
In their quest for loot, the burglars not only entered through the back door of the house but also damaged the property’s CCTV system, rendering it inoperative.
