Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Honors Doctors, Organizes Camps
Rotary Club of Jamshedpur celebrates Doctor’s Day with a blood donation and medical checkup camp, honors doctors.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Steel City Unit has planned a series of events to celebrate Doctor’s Day on July 1st.
The club will organize a Blood Donation and Medical Checkup Camp at the Jamshedpur Blood Bank.
On this occasion, local doctors will also be honored for their services.
In collaboration with the Tribal Welfare Foundation, the club will also plant one thousand saplings on barren land in Patmada.
The newly elected executive committee’s president for 2023-24, Amrita Vakharia, spoke about the club’s future activities.
In the coming days, the club will launch an awareness campaign regarding Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Anemia.
Special attention will be given to the literacy of orphan children and adult children under the ASRF project.
The club will conduct free surgeries for five financially weak and helpless solar children, as an MoU has been signed with a hospital in the South.
The club also plans to run a program regarding suicide prevention and will work to provide technical education and employment to underprivileged children.
